From Samsung with Love

For people who live apart from family, distance is the main reason obstructing the care. And the problem gets more complicated due to the social distancing take place in the world.

On Vietnamese Family Day, we highlight the crucial role of Samsung by helping people living in abroad show their care and appreciation to their loved ones. With Samsung’s special campaign, no matter where they live, showing care to family even from afar becomes easier than ever.

For people who live apart from their family, work and the hardships 

of living in a foreign country occupy most of their time and their mind, nonetheless, deep down inside, they are always longing for loved ones at home. That love warms their heart, brighten them up and give them strength no matter where they are.

That is why I use Double Exposure in art direction, which can visualize our message in a touching way: with Samsung, despite the distance, you can still care for those who have a place in your heart.


The art direction above was my favorite, however, the client chose to go with a more straightforward approach.

 

Due to Covid situation, production plan needed to be changed, everything moved to online. Shooting become just using footages and available sources. We were able to produce a video using what we have, including having myself playing the role of a voice narrator and video editor.

Luckily the situation got better, we were able to finalize the video with professional voice actor.

The family who gifted with Samsung product will also receive a heartfelt postcard
